Closely resembling the Finnish Lapphund except in color, the Swedish Lapphund was historically used by the Sami people for herding reindeer. Though relatively uncommon outside Sweden, it is a well-loved house dog in its native country. This breed thrives on companionship but tends to bark frequently when left alone for extended periods.
