Stronger and more robust than most sight hounds, the Polish Greyhound is thought to have originated from a mix of the Greyhound and the Borzoi. Bred for hunting wolves and large birds such as the bustard, it is also a popular track racer. This breed requires firm training, ample exercise, and regular coat maintenance.
