Sweden’s national dog, the Nordic Spitz (Norbottenspets), remains relatively unknown outside its native country. Historically, it was used to hunt squirrels and, more recently, game birds. This bright-eyed, bushy-tailed breed is well-suited as a house pet but needs plenty of vigorous exercise.
