Native to New Guinea, this rare, dingo-like breed lives in the wild or in semi-domesticated conditions. Known as the Singing Dog, it is kept as a curiosity in zoos worldwide but has also been taken in by a few dedicated owners as a challenging pet. Its unique ability to modulate the pitch of its howl gives the breed its distinctive name.
