Used in Spain for hunting rabbits in packs, the Ibizan Hound is capable of traversing rugged terrain with its signature “raking trot.” The breed is also known for its impressive jumping ability, effortlessly clearing garden fences. While relatively easy to care for, the Ibizan Hound requires constant physical activity. It has a charming personality and integrates well into family life. The breed comes in two coat types—smooth and rough—both of which are low-maintenance.
