The Biewer Terrier, despite its small size, is an energetic and devoted companion that enjoys long walks. This striking color variant of the Yorkshire Terrier first appeared in Germany in 1984 when a blue, white, and gold puppy was unexpectedly born in a litter from two standard Yorkshire Terriers. Imported to the U.S. in 2003, the breed's popularity has since spread worldwide.
