Larger than a Beagle but smaller than a Harrier, this charming little hound is believed to share ancestry with both breeds, though it may not result from a direct cross. The Beagle Harrier has been a staple in French hunting traditions since the late 1800s but remains relatively rare outside France. With its friendly disposition, it makes an excellent family pet.
